Amazon.com...I applaud you. Colorado is the bully here, and this law was passed to make them feel better about themselves. At the end of 2010, they won't see much benefit from this tax, and will see the damage they have caused to this state.

Other businesses in Colorado who feel that this "levels the playing field" are wrong. If they want to level the playing field, they can lower their prices. Amazon.com has employees just like businesses in Colorado. How is it Amazon.com can manage it better than local businesses? If businesses lowered their prices to match amazon, they would get more business, TRUST ME!! Price match amazon, and your sales will go up. I guarantee it.

Yeah, I want to know why Amazon does not benefit from schools (so that people can read their damn books), roads (shipping would be a bitch without them), or the National Guard (do they have their own military?) all paid for with State Tax Dollars. I had a business for six years and gladly gave the state their share. This is vindictive short sighted right wing childish bullshit.

I really think Amazon should own up to the fact that they are corporate bullies. This is a tax that is collected by every other retailer, why should Amazon be exempt? We should all be against corporate subsides because they increase the burden of taxes on to the individual!
